Places to Remember - Isle of Skye

Elgol #85 (2012)

  • Elgol, on the Isle of Skye, is one of our favorite places. Its beauty is difficult to describe in words. From the magnificent mountains to the stunning coastline, the Isle of Skye is truly a perfect destination for photography. The coastline opens towards the sea and the land recedes peacefully. The still water reflects the light and the sky, while the dark rocky surfaces anchor the composition with texture and scale. The image captures a place shaped by patience, where silence, water, and stone align to create a landscape that invites slow observation and repeated returns.
We recommend visiting our "Places to Remember/Isle of Skye" gallery, where we share details of our visits in 2012 and 2014 to the Isle of Skye, Inner Hebrides.
