The Felgueiras Lighthouse, located on the right bank of the Douro River, features a hexagonal granite tower approximately ten meters high. It is an imposing structure that was begun in 1790 and became a lighthouse in 1886. Over the years, it has undergone modernisation and is now a tourist attraction in the city of Porto.
