Elgol #68 (2012)
-
Elgol, located on the Isle of Skye, is one of our most cherished locations, and its beauty is hard to convey in words. This photograph captures the dramatic interaction between the turbulent waters of the Atlantic and the island's ancient geological formations. The composition showcases the jagged coastline, where the tide gently laps at the honey-coloured rocks, leading the eye toward the distant, mist-covered peaks of the Black Cuillin Mountains. From the breathtaking coastline to the magnificent mountains, the Isle of Skye remains an ideal destination for photography, and we are excited to plan our return.
We recommend visiting our "Places to Remember/Isle of Skye" gallery, where we share details of our visits in 2012 and 2014 to the Isle of Skye, Inner Hebrides. -
